Thank you Suereadingcorner for nominating me!

1. Select 15 other blogs you want to give this award to. Do some digging if you must! Find those blogs. You cannot nominate yourself or the person who nominated you.

2. Write a post to show off your award! Give a brief story of how your blog got started and give a piece or two of advice to new bloggers. List who nominated you in your post. Make sure to attach the award yourself!

3. Comment on each blog to let them know you’ve nominated them. Provide a link to your award post.

4. Provide a link to the original post on Edge of Night. This way, anyone can find the original post if needed and we can keep it from mutating and becoming confusing!

Why I started blogging:

I started writing my blog because I am an author and will be releasing my books this year. I wanted to connect with like minded people and hopefully build some interest in my writing too.

Advice:

The best advice I can think of is to just stay natural with you’re blogging. Write about things that matter to you in a way that will draw people in, stay light hearted and fun 😊

  1. Thank you very much for the nomination, Susanne:)). This looks an interesting one – I may not respond immediately as I’m absolutely slammed just now, but I do promise that I will get back to it and give it the attention it deserves! Think your advice is spot on, as it happens. All the blogs I find myself returning to are those where the writer’s own voice just bounces through each article – and the ones I find I drift away from are those where I feel the writer has suddenly either read a ‘How To’ piece that tells them they were doing it wrong – or suddenly has a book/album/something else they want to flog and it becomes about that, rather than communicating with like-minded people…
